Playmakers
Playmakers is a theatrical treasure located in historic downtown Grove.
The Grove Playmaker, Inc. was founded by Suzanne & the late Jim Boles in 1995. The success of the first production convinced the participants
that there was a place for live theatre in the Grand Lake area. A Board of Directors was organized & a 501(c)(3 )tax status obtained.
Over 31 years (this year) some Programs of Playmakers have included: An annual season - of 3 or 4 productions, A "readers" theater - mostly short comedies,
Quality dance classes, "Off Broadway Cabaret" events, The Playmakers Legacy Awards & More!
"Join Meg Murry, her brilliant brother Charles Wallace, and their friend Calvin as they leap across the universe on a daring mission to

The Grove Public Library and the Delaware County Library in Jay are partnering with The Playmakers for a special performance at the theatre on July 21
for students 10-14 yrs old who have read the book as part of their library clubs and have discussed it in their meetings. See the libraries’
